20 Years of the
Harn Museum of Art

Sunday, October 10, 1 - 5 p.m.

Stop by and wish the Harn Museum of Art a Happy 20th Birthday. This afternoon of activities will be open to all and planned especially for families with children.

Enjoy performances by UF School of Theatre and Dance students, led by choreographer Neta Pulvermacher. Listen to the sounds of gypsy-violinist Geoffrey Fitzhugh Perry.

Visit one of our three art-making stations which include decorating cupcakes, creating and stamping birthday cards and hats using art imagery from the Harn’s collection. Also let us snap your portrait in our photo booth for participation in our online Web site and gallery installation titled “Transitions” which is a part of the Dawoud Bey exhibition.

Participate in a scavenger hunt through the galleries highlighting the Harn Museum’s collection and its history. Docents will be stationed in the galleries to answer any questions you may have about the art on view. Tours will be offered at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. View an Art:21 film screening featuring William Kentridge, an artist whose work is on view in the contemporary gallery.
