Join Instructor Nicole Reno for "Horsing Around With Art" and "FUN-tastic Figures in Art" Summer Break Camp Sessions.
Morning Session: "Horsing Around With Art" Gallop along with us as we take a closer look at the horses in the museum and make plaster an object relief horse sculptures, charcoal drawings, paintings and prints.
Afternoon session: "FUN-tastic Figures in Art" Take a closer look at the figure paintings in the museum and make figure drawings, paintings, plaster sculptures and a photo-montage starring the summer camp artist.

Morning Session: "Outta this World Art" Come analyze the contemporary art in the museum and explore the possibilities of modern abstract painting, printmaking and sculpting.
Afternoon Session: "Dyn-o-mite Digital Photography" Develop your photographic talent with us as we examine the photographs in the museum and make a stop-motion animation video, photo montage and hand-colored photography.

Morning Session "Build it, Shape it, Sculpt it" (3-D) Come take a closer look at the “Self-taught Artists” of the Deep Roots: Bold Visions exhibition at the Harn Museum of Art. At this session, you will explore various ways to build relief and 3-D sculptures, using wood, found objects, wire and clay.
Afternoon Session: "The Natural World of Art" Join us as we explore the exhibition titled Verdant Earth and Teeming Seas: The Natural World in Ancient American Art. You will learn about art of Ancient America and the possibilities of making art focused on plants and animals with natural materials.

Morning Session: "Fashion and Function: The Everyday Arts of Africa" Tour the African collection and learn about African art. You will create clay vessels, paper beads, Galimoto and weaving.
Afternoon Session: "Printmaking Around the World" Explore the African, Modern and Contemporary collections and create your own Matisse linocuts, African textile prints, botanical prints, Monoprints and silkscreen.

Join Instructor Katie Clifton for "Exploring Asia: From Ancient History to Modern Art" and "Color Theory: Mixing it Up!"
Morning Session: "Exploring Asia: From Ancient History to Modern Day" Tour the new Asian Art Wing and learn about Asian art through the ages. You will create ceramic bowls, learn Chinese characters, create a painted dragon, and a Balinese mask.
Afternoon Session: "Color Theory: Mixing it up!" Come experiment with color through color wheels. You will create flowers inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe, explore Batik and learn about tints, shades and complimentary colors. Campers will even create an edible color wheel!

Morning Session: "FUNctional and Sculptural Art"
Explore sculptural art and then create functional pieces including ceramic vessels, mobiles and woven baskets. Make a denim shoulder bag and origami.
Afternoon Session: "Self-portraits: Image and Identity"
Create contour line self-portrait prints, a still-life self-portrait, collage and a future self-portrait.

Join Instructor Jennifer Link for "Artists, Animals and Art" and "Excite-Educate-Enrich Through Art"
Morning Session: "Artists, Animals and Art" Campers will explore works in the contemporary, Asian, African and modern collections. Art-making activities include: mixed-media sculpture, pottery, mosaic, portrait drawing and mask-making.
Afternoon Session: "Excite - Educate - Enrich Through Art" Image new worlds in space and under the sea by playing with color and creating silhouettes, a mixed-media fish habitat, Sumi-e paintings, mosaics and space scenes.

Join us in learning about Architecture Periods and shapes, as well as floor plans, construction sites, elevation, gardens by sketching, sculpting, coloring, painting and creatively using found objects.
Afternoon Session: Instructor: Barbara Bengston"Folk Art Adventures"
Learn about folk art traditions such as Seminole patchwork, Japanese origami and Ancient American clay vessels. Make paper, beads, a pillow, corn husk horses and weave. Explore the exhibition Deep Roots, Bold Visions and learn about book artists like Eric Carle.
